  • Do I need to do any paperwork when purchasing a DHA SIM?
    No paperwork is required.
  • Can I charge the SIM card (purchase additional data)?

  • What is the expiration date of the SIM card?
    The expiration date on the SIM package is the final start date of use. Please be sure to start using it by this date. If you start using it by this date, you can use it for the period stated on the package.
  • How long is the SIM card valid for?
    You can use it for the usage period stated on the package with the first day as the first day of use.
  • Can I send calls or SMS with my DHA SIM SIM card?
    Some products can make voice calls and send SMS. It is described in the product name and product description. Please contact us for details.
  • Does the DHA SIM come with a phone number?
    Some products have a phone number. It is described in the product name and product description. Please contact us for details.
  • Can I use SMS with DHA SIM?
    Some products can use SMS. It is described in the product name and product description. Please contact us for details.
  • Can I use tethering?
    For products that are not listed as unavailable on the package, you can use tethering.
  • What are APNs?
    APN (Access Point Name) is a setting required to connect to the mobile service on your device. When using data communication services using our SIM card, you will need to set an APN. For details, please refer to the setting procedure described in the package.
  • What is SIM free (SIM unlocked)?
    SIM-free refers to a device that is not locked by the carrier of purchase. To unlock the SIM, please go to My docomo, My au, or My Softbank.   • What is a SIM free terminal?
    Refers to a terminal that is not restricted by the contracted carrier. Since you can use it without SIM card restrictions, you can freely choose a SIM card from a Japan domestic carrier (or cheap SIM or prepaid SIM). In order to use the communication service with our SIM card, you need to set the APN.
  • What devices are available?
    Unless stated on the package, it can be used with SIM-free iPhones, iPads, Android smartphones, mobile WiFi routers, and LTE computers.
  • I have a docomo smartphone. Can I use DHA SIM without SIM unlocking?
    DHA SIM cannot be used unless all products are unlocked. It can be canceled online or at each company's shop. Please check the website of each company for SIM unlock fees at the shop.
  • Can I use it with my device (smartphone, tablet, mobile WiFi router, LTE computer)?
    (1) Please check if the device is SIM-free (SIM unlocked). (2) Please check the supported frequencies of your device. (3) APN setting is required for use. Learn how to set APNs for each device. * For mobile WiFi routers, you need to add or edit a new APN profile. For details, please refer to the instruction manual of your device.
  • What are eSIMs?
    An eSIM is a "SIM integrated into the main unit" in which a SIM is built into the terminal of a smartphone. The difference from a physical SIM card is that it does not need to be purchased each time and can be completed online, and there is no need to replace the physical SIM and the risk of damage to the SIM and equipment is small. After purchase, simply scan the QR code and install the eSIM profile.
  • I accidentally purchased an eSIM for a device that does not support eSIM.
    If you purchased by mistake, please contact us from the inquiry form. We will exchange it for an equivalent physical SIM. Please note that the delivery fee for the replacement product will be borne by the customer.
